I’m a 40-year-old mother of two, living in a small coastal village on Canada’s East Coast. Although I studied fine art and design, my career has taken me in a different direction, keeping me busy with work far removed from my creative roots. Yet, I’ve always felt a deep compulsion to create—drawing, painting, and exploring ideas through art nearly every day, even if most of it ended up tucked away in binders and boxes. I once read a quote that said, “True artists create even when no one is watching,” and that resonates with me deeply.

 

For years, I shared my art only with family and friends, often gifting them pieces and always encouraged by their support. But it wasn’t until I faced a serious health crisis—one that art helped me endure as an escape from the pain and illness—that I felt ready to finally take the next step. This website, along with my Etsy page, is a realization of my long-time dream: to share my artwork without fear of rejection or judgment.
