Over the past three years, I've been battling a chronic illness that forced me to confront difficult truths about my life—past experiences, choices I’ve made, and what it means to be a woman in today’s world. Many days, confined to bed, I reflected on my experiences within a medical system that often disregards women’s pain, concerns, and needs. I thought about the different stages of a woman's life and the value that society assigns to each one. Through this process, I’ve been working to find my own worth, independent of society’s perspective, and exploring ways to represent my thoughts on the invisibility of women—even though all life originates from us.
